Steve and Fannie Barnstorm Across the District

The past few days have been so encouraging on the campaign trail. This is Jeremiah, the campaign manager writing - I've been traveling with Steve and Fannie, and I'm inspired to see how much energy they have, and how much energy voters reflect back at them.

Steve and Fannie have been igniting grassroots support across the district. On Friday we announced two new county chairs, Walter McQuie in Montgomery and Phil Smith in Pike. Both are leading Dems in their communities. We visited the Montgomery Standard, the Bowling Green Times and People's Tribune. We met voters at a livestock sale in Bowling Green, at the Pike County Democrats open house, and at the Pike County Fish Fry. Saturday we galvanized the crowd at a rally in Warren County and had a great meet-up in Kirksville, on our way to Sunday's fantastic Swinkey Picnic. And voters everywhere told Steve he's going to win.

We have about two weeks left to close this deal. Please spread the word. Forward this email to your friends. Tell them you know Steve is the only Democrat who can win in November. Tell them we must choose Steve in August if we want a real chance to make change in November. Tell them Steve has spent his life standing up to special interests, and that Steve will keep standing up to special interests in DC. That's what it takes to make change, and Steve is the only one who can do it.
